Hello and I'm so excited you found your way here!
I want to take a moment to share a little about myself with you! I live in New England and absolutely love it. The mountains, lakes, and rivers are just beautiful through every season. I mean really can you complain if your driving down country back roads to work every day and get to see snow covered mountains and beautiful lakes? My favorite season is Fall because I love the leaves changing colors, cozy sweaters, warm apple cider, and Halloween.
I have been with my husband for 14 years and married for 10. We met shortly after I moved after I had graduated from UMass Amherst in 2003. We love to spend time camping and outdoors fishing with our 2 boys. We are a sports loving family and you can always find us at one of our boys sporting events cheering loudly from the stands. Yes I'm one of THOSE Moms. Our boys are 12 and 9 and truly our world. They both love playing soccer and our oldest also plays basketball and our youngest plays baseball in addition to soccer. They keep us constantly on the go, but we wouldn't change it one bit.
I have a strong faith in our Lord and enjoy reading my daily devotionals each morning. When I have a few spare moments I enjoy writing, painting and drawing. I truly love the arts and exercising a few days a week. I'm one of those crazy ladies that gets up at the crack of dawn to fit in a workout, but I am one cranky Momma if I don't exercise.
I currently work as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager. The program I run has 12 students with severe cognitive disabilities and each has a one to one paraprofessional that assists them throughout the day. My students truly bring light to my day and are a blessing. They are teaching me every day how to be a better teacher and person. I'm blessed to be able to learn from them and the amazing women that assist them. I'd be lost if they weren't there supporting me.
I have found love in sharing with you my thoughts and stories. It's daily therapy for me and I hope that through my page you realize as a woman, mother, career woman, or entrepreneur, you are supported and have others going through the same moments in their life that you are in yours. I hope through this page it helps you realize your true beauty, strength, and ability to chase your dreams. You are incredible and can make your life all you want it to be so don't ever doubt yourself. Did you know how incredible ww are? We are capable of so many things and our Lord has created us in all his glory. I hope through the stories I share of my journey and other women that you find a small piece that empowers you to dream big.
